Villagers facing shortage of drinking water due to stalled tubewell bore in Radaur – Radauri

In Radauri, the tube well bore of the Water Supply Department has been stalled for almost a year. Due to which the villagers are facing acute shortage of drinking water in the village. Despite repeated complaints, the villagers are very upset due to non-availability of new bore wells by the Water Supply Department.

On Monday, the villagers, under the leadership of social worker Shivkumar Shastri, expressed their anger by raising slogans against the water supply department and the government. Shivkumar Shastri, Vipin Kamboj, Praveen, Sukhbir, Ashok, Phool Singh, Hukam Singh, Pramod, Rameshchand, residents of village Radauri, etc.

told that 2 tubewells have been installed by the Water Supply Department for drinking water in the village. About a year ago, the bore of a tubewell had stalled. Due to which drinking water is being supplied from only one tube well in the village. Drinking water is not reaching the homes of the villagers due to the supply of water from a tube well during the summer season.

Due to which there is a shortage of drinking water in the village. Many times the people of the village met the SDO and JE of the Water Supply Department to get the new bore of the tubewell done.

But till date there is no solution to the problem. The officials of the department assured the villagers many times to get a new bore in the village. But till date the new bore of the tube well has not been found. Due to which there is acute shortage of drinking water in the village.

In this regard, the SDO of the department, Ravi Nayak, said that the estimate was sent to the department for getting a new bore of drinking water tubewell in Radauri village. Estimate has been passed. Now the mechanical wing of the department has to tender for the new bore of the tube well. After which a new bore will be made in the village soon
